It’s the final week of the regular season! This season has been a great one for both our ATS picks and our on the field picks. The playoff should be exciting this season as the elite in college football are on top of their game. As for this week there are several games that will have an impact on who we will make the playoff so let’s get to the picks!
Washington +3 at Washington State
The Apple Cup will have a little extra juice this year as the winner will take the Pac-12 North and play in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Wazzu has had a great year surpassing everyone’s expectations with Leach turning his QB Garner Minshew into a legit Heisman contender. However, this Husky team matches up very well here. Washington State is weak against the run something that the Huskies do well and the Huskies pass defense is good and I expect they will be able to get pressure with just the front four, something key to stopping this air raid offense. I will take the points here.
Syracuse +7.5 at BC
This is a classic case of overreaction to the previous week as everyone just saw the Orange get crushed on national TV versus Notre Dame but these teams are basically even in my book. I’ll happily grab the points here in what should be a very tight contest.
Notre Dame -10.5 at USC
This USC team is just a hot mess right now as they are constantly are turning the ball over, the play calling is a mess, and they seem to draw a flag on every play. On paper you might think that with the talent rankings being close and being at home USC can make a game of it but I have seen this team all year just play so poorly I don’t see any way they have a chance here against this legit Irish squad who should put a beatdown on USC on their way to the Playoffs.
Utah State ML at Boise St
I have been riding my boy Jordan Love all year and this is his chance to really shine and clinch Utah State’s trip to the Mountain West Championship. I expect a ton of points in this one and even though Utah State is underdog go ahead and grab the extra value with the moneyline play here as they should drop 40+ on the Broncos.
Houston +7 at Memphis
Ed Oliver is making his return to the field in what should be his final colligate game before going in the first round in this upcoming draft and I don’t think he will disappoint. Our SSA line has this closer to a fg game and likely the reason this line is so high is Houston is starting their backup QB. I watched Houston’s backup QB shred a solid Tulane defense last week that is actually better than this Memphis one so I don’t expect that will slow them down. The Cougars should keep it close enough to cover here.
