Bulldog Dave’s Week 10 CFB Picks

With a crazy week last week I am getting back to my bread and butter. Here are some dogs that should cover and have a good chance of pulling off the upset.

Kansas St +3 vs. Texas Tech
When in doubt, always back the Wizard. These are words to live by as Bill Snyder has time and again come through as a dog in tough spots. Kansas State should have no trouble running the ball against this pour Red Raiders defense and I like them catching the 3 points to get the upset here regardless of who starts at QB for them.

Arizona +7.5 vs. USC
Watch out PAC-12 because here comes Khalil Tate sprinting down the sidelines as the Wildcats are making a late push for PAC-12 South title. I love what the team has looked like since he has taken over at QB and he has been a breath of fresh air for them. I think they have the horses to keep this close as USC. With the exception of last week USC hasn’t really blown teams this year and has struggled against the run. Wildcats keep it within a TD.

Marshal +9 vs. FAU
I know Lane Kiffin and the boys at FAU have been coming on as of late and I think they will be a solid play down the stretch but I just think this is too many points for them to be laying to a solid Marshall squad with better talent. Marshal should be able to keep up with FAU on offense and keep this shootout within the number.

Virginia +10 vs. Georgia Tech
Virginia has hit a real skid as of late after starting the season off with a very strong start. However, I like getting them here back in their traditional double digit underdog role. Bronco Mendenhall has done a good job historically preparing for the option and in what could be a rainy sloppy game I like getting points here. Go Cavaliers!
