Bulldog Dave’s Wk 4 College Football Picks

Last week was another solid week going 2-1-1 keeping our win percentage over 60% on the year.  This week we like a lot of underdogs to howl and always remember when backing a dog to sprinkle some cash on that money line.

BYU +7 vs. West Virginia: BYU has had a tough schedule to date coming up just short against UCLA and Utah but showing solid performances in the process.  Meanwhile they catch a overrated Mountaineers team off a bye on a neutral field.  Take the points here in what should be a closely contested game.

Ole Miss -6.5 vs. Georgia: Ole Miss comes off a tough loss vs Alabama but has looked quite good in most of their contests this year.  In contrast we see a struggling Georgia team having QB issues and under performing.  We like the Rebels to cover the number and get back on track.

Marshall +27.5 vs. Louisville: Louisville is riding high after destroying FSU last week but finds themselves in a tough sandwich here  with Clemson on deck.  You might have to cover your eyes for this one but when you open them you should be looking at a Marshall cover.

Arkansas +6.5 @ Texas A&M: The Razorbacks head down to college station to take on a Texas A&M team hot off a win over Auburn.  These teams are virtually even in my mind and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Arkansas win outright.  Back Bielma’s squad here and cash that ticket!

Stanford -3 @ UCLA: Stanford is coming off a convincing win against USC and now takes on the other LA team in the Rose Bowl.  This should be a tightly contested game but I think that Stanford matches up well with UCLA in the trenches and should be able to grind out a win and cover here.  Fear the Tree!
