Entering the new NFL season, the more things change, the more they stay the same….Raiders always looking for a new home (Oakland? LA? Vegas?), San Diego nickel-and-diming draft picks and Philly fans wishing for a different starting QB. Much like the NCAA, I think several teams have a chance to make this year’s Super Bowl. Brady being out for 4 games, Josh Norman leaving the Panthers, Peyton retiring and uncertainty on the long-term health of Romo, leave a wide-open race for the Lombardi Trophy.
Rookies I think will make a big impact:
RB Ezekiel Elliot (Cowboys)
WR Laquon Treadwell (Vikings)
LB Myles Jack (Jacksonville)
WR Tyler Boyd (Bengals)
CB Jalen Ramsey (Jacksonville)

Teams that I think will do worse than expected:
Let’s start the season on a winning note. Here are some Week 1 predictions:
Indianapolis -5 vs. Detroit – Calvin is gone and Luck is ready to roll. I think the Colts have a better year than expected and I think Detroit struggles all year. Colts by 10. Indy 27 Detroit 17.
Atlanta -3 vs. Tampa Bay – I think Atlanta bounces back and has a very good year. I think Jameis takes a step back now that teams have more film on him. I am predicting a Sophomore slump for him. Look for Julio Jones to tear it up this year. Atlanta 27 Tampa 20.
Jacksonville +4.5 vs. Green Bay – Jacksonville will turn a corner this year. I think they are going in the right direction and drafting well. I think they play inspired and make this a very close game. Green Bay 27 Jacksonville 24.
Rams -2.5 at San Francisco – I don’t care if the Rams start Case Keenum. Drunk Manziel could win this game. Kelly should have went back to College at The U. Rams 24 San Fran 10.
